Lisa Gelb Named FCC Enforcement Bureau Deputy Chief And Chief Of Staff

FCC Wireline Competition Bureau Deputy Chief LISA GELB will move to the Enforcement Bureau as Deputy Chief and Chief of Staff, Enforcement Chief TRAVIS LEBLANC announced TODAY (3/14).  GELB's new position will give her responsibilities including Telephone Consumer Protection Act compliance and accessibility for telecommunications services; she will also provide policy, legal, and managerial counsel to the Bureau.

“I am very pleased that LISA is joining the Enforcement Bureau,” said LEBLANC. “Her depth of knowledge about communications law, particularly in the areas of wireline telephone and broadband, her understanding of the Commission, her extensive management experience, and her good judgment are invaluable in managing the bureau’s workload.”
