BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE will not have to testify in front of the jury for the HULK HOGAN sex tape case, Judge PAMELA CAMPBELL ruled MONDAY (3/15).  

BAY NEWS 9 reports that the judge granted BUBBA's attorney's motion to keep the syndicated radio host off the stand for the trial; BUBBA has said that he would invoke the Fifth Amendment if called, and GAWKER attorney MICHAEL BERRY, who had wanted to call BUBBA as a witness, said, "We are in a bit of a bind because Mr. (BUBBA) CLEM is a pathological untrustworthy person."

The tape at the center of the controversy was allegedly stolen from BUBBA by a former employee. HOGAN settled with BUBBA for $5,000 (NET NEWS 3/15).
