Ray Baum Joins NAB As VP/Government Relations

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS has hired former House Committee on Energy and Commerce Senior Policy Advisor RAY BAUM as VP of Government Relations, effective MARCH 31st.  BAUM, a former OREGON Public Utility Commission Chairman and OREGON House Majority Leader, will report to NAB EVP of Government Relations CURTIS LEGEYT.

"I'm pleased to have RAY BAUM joining our talented government relations department,” said NAB President and CEO GORDON SMITH. "He brings extensive policymaking experience on the federal, state and local levels as both a legislator and staffer. Broadcasters will benefit greatly from having RAY advocating on our behalf in WASHINGTON."
