OHANA BROADCAST COMPANY is set to launch a new morning show on Top 40/Rhythm KDDB (102.7 DA BOMB)/HONOLULU with local native KEOLA LUI-KWAN returning to his home town after 14 years in major markets. Most recently he was APD/MD/afternoons at CBS Top 40 KKHH (HOT 95.7)/HOUSTON!
Said KDDB PD KELSEY YOGI: "I’m proud to announce the addition of a homegrown talent who will bring new energy and excitement to 102.7 DA BOMB and a new level of morning entertainment to this market.”
LUI-KWAN was born and raised in HAWAII and graduated from KAMEHAMEHA SCHOOLS and received his ENGLISH LITERATURE degree at the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON. In 2000, he started his radio broadcasting career, and has since hosted #1 ranked Afternoon Drive shows in SAN FRANCISCO, SEATTLE, PORTLAND, DENVER and, most recently, HOUSTON.
“I always have and will be true to where I come from,” says LUI-KWAN. “HAWAII is my home and always in my heart.”
LUI-KWAN can be heard MONDAY through FRIDAY from 5:30a to 10a (HST), beginning APRIL 4th.
