Joey + Rory 'Hymns' Sits Atop All-Genre, Country, Christian Album Charts

Though perhaps bittersweet, congratulations are once again in order for the success of JOEY + RORY’s album, “Hymns,” which now sits atop the Country, Christian and all-genre album charts after moving 44,000 copies during the sales week ending THURSDAY, MARCH 17th, according to NIELSEN MUSIC. That list is based on pure album sales; however, even among the multi-metric consumption chart - consisting of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums and streaming equivalent albums - “Hymns” still ranks #3 overall.

Last month, “Hymns,” the final album from JOEY + RORY, which was released on their own FARMHOUSE RECORDINGS label, debuted at #1 on both the Country and Christian album charts (NET NEWS 2/22). Eleven days later, JOEY FEEK died after a long battle with cancer – during which she recorded “Hymns” with husband RORY.  The outpouring of love and support for the duo has continued, evidenced by their sales success.
