iHEARTMEDIA/YOUNGSTOWN makes some adjustments to the Programming team. KEITH KENNEDY is the new SVPP for the market, replacing STEVE GRANATO, who is no longer with the cluster. KENNEDY will assume the day-to-day PD duties of Top 40 WAKZ (KISS 95.9), while retaining his SVPP role in AKRON/CANTON.
Rocker WNCD (93.3 THE WOLF)/YOUNGSTOWN APD/MD DOMINIC NARDELLO is upped to PD of the station, and will serve in the dual role of WAKZ APD. JEFF KELLY retains his role of PD of Classic Hits WBBG (BIG 106.1) and Sports WNIO-A (1390 THE SPORTS ANIMAL), while taking on the PD duties for AC WMYX (MIX 98.9). DAN RIVERS remains the PD of News-Talk WKBN-A.
The company said in a statement, “The new YOUNGSTOWN programming structure certainly gives us the best opportunity for ratings and revenue success moving forward and that’s very exciting! KEITH is a very strong leader who used to oversee the market in a regional role and other adjustments certainly play to the strengths of the rest of the programming team!”
