KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles Launches New Show, The Message

EMMIS Top 40/Rhythmic KPWR (POWER 106)/LOS ANGELES has launched a new Hip Hop music platform called, THE MESSAGE hosted by DJ REFLEX.  THE MESSAGE airs MONDAY - THURSDAY at midnight.  The new show delivers the best in progressive Hip Hop while paying respect to the classic Hip Hop culture that helped shaped today's sound.  Highlighting artists such as ANDERSON .PAAK, KENDRICK LAMAR and LOGIC amongst others, THE MESSAGE is curated and hosted by DJ REFLEX.  

DJ REFLEX commented, "For over 16 years POWER 106 has supported my efforts toward music discovery and early artist support resulting in valuable relationships with KANYE WEST, KENDRICK LAMAR and many others. I'm grateful for our partnership and look forward to having this new show, THE MESSAGE, to continue pushing the Hip Hop culture forward.

POWER 106 continues to support new music discovery on its daily NEW@2 show hosted by YESI ORTIZ on weekdays at 2 pm.  In addition, POWER 106 and EMMIS sister station WQHT (HOT 97)/NEW YORK offer an exclusive new music streaming station consisting totally of breaking new Hip Hop on the New@2 station on the WHERE HIP HOP LIVES app.
