WXLA/Lansing Flips To Standards Simulcast With WILS

With MACDONALD BROADCASTING taking over as the new owner of Urban WQHH (POWER 96.5) and Urban AC WXLA-A (MIX 1180)/LANSING, the company flips WXLA to a simulcast of sister Adult Standards WILS-A (except for WILS' CHRIS HOLMAN morning show, during which WXLA will continue with music).

In addition, WQHH adds the syndicated TOM JOYNER show. The LANSING STATE JOURNAL reports that MACDONALD closed on the purchase of the stations from MID MICHIGAN FM, INC. for $3.65 million on MONDAY.
