WCIC/Peoria Hires Jake Sommers For Afternoons

NEW LIFE MEDIA Contemporary Christian WCIC (Faith, Hope, Family)/PEORIA, IL welcomes JAKE SOMMERS as the newest addition to the team, starting APRIL 4th. JAKE will co-host the afternoon show along with SUZANNE HAPPS, and will also oversee production and imaging.

Station Mgr. DAVE BROOKS said, "JAKE is a pro. He brings a lot of heart to his work and will connect deeply with WCIC listeners. In addition to great radio chemistry, he and SUZANNE will have a natural way of bringing faith into the stuff of everyday life. We’re thrilled JAKE is joining our team!"

Prior to WCIC, SOMMERS's career in Christian radio has taken him to KTIS/MINNEAPOLIS, WCVO (THE RIVER)/COLUMBUS, and most recently the CHRISTIAN FM NETWORK, based in FLORIDA.
