Public Radio GM Caught In Child Sex Sting

The GM of LSU-SHREVEPORT's noncommercial RED RIVER RADIO NETWORK (KDAQ/SHREVEPORT, LA; KLSA/ALEXANDRIA, LA; KBSA/EL DORADO, AR; and KLDN/LUFKIN, TX) was arrested MONDAY night on child sex solicitation charges.

ROY GERRITSEN was charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor and attemoted carnal knowledge of a juvenile after being caught in a police sting online, reports the SHREVEPORT TIMES. GERRITSEN allegedly attempted to pick up what he thought was a 14-year-old girl he met on the Internet who turned out to be an undercover officer.
