Condolences to family and friends of longtime WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORP. News-Talk WAJR-A/MORGANTOWN, WV morning host JIM STALLINGS, who died TODAY (3/24) after a battle with brain cancer at 54, the station has reported.

STALLINGS, who joined WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORP. in 1985, co-hosted "MORGANTOWN A.M." with KAY MURRAY on WAJR for several years.

“Our longtime friend and colleague JIM STALLINGS passed away this morning," said Pres./CEO DALE MILLER. "He was part of our family for most of his life and our thoughts and prayers are with SUE and his family today.  JIM STALLINGS was a great broadcaster and an even better person. JIM takes a prominent place in WAJR’s 75-year heritage and our entire radio family already misses him.”
