WQMP (101.9 Amp Radio)/Orlando To Debut New Morning Show Monday

CBS RADIO Top 40 WQMP (101.9 AMP RADIO)/ORLANDO will debut its new morning show, CHAD & JILL IN THE MORNING on MONDAY (3/28).  CHAD PITT comes to 101.9 AMP RADIO from afternoons at CBS RADIO Hot AC KHMX (MIX 96.5)/HOUSTON and JILL BUCCO moves to the morning show from afternoons at 101.9 AMP RADIO.

WQMP PD DENNIS MARTINEZ commented, "If you spend five minutes in a room with CHAD and JILL, it feels like you are immediately a part of their group. They have a natural rapport with each other that comes from over 15 years of friendship.  These two are going to change the landscape of morning radio in central FLORIDA, and we are so excited to bring their show to our listeners."

BUCCO, a NEW JERSEY native, began her radio career in promotions in MEMPHIS and eventually worked her way up to morning show host. She left MEMPHIS in 2012 for an on-air position in TAMPA and then finally landed in ORLANDO in MARCH of 2014, where BUCCO began her role on 101.9 AMP RADIO in afternoon drive.

PITT’s first job in radio was in RICHMOND, VA. He landed his first full-time on-air position in SAVANNAH, and then moved to MEMPHIS in 1998 where he met his now best friend for life, BUCCO. PITT’s career took him to ORLANDO and TAMPA in the 2000s, and he landed with MIX 96.5 in HOUSTON in 2013. His love for ORLANDO, and friendship with JILL brought him back to ORLANDO to host mornings.
