IRELAND's TV3 has gone to court to block news anchor CLAIRE BYRNE from joining the now-national NEWSTALK 106FM/DUBLIN as morning co-host. TV3 got an interim injunction keeping BYRNE from her co-hosting duties with GER GILROY until a THURSDAY hearing, and is trying to keep BYRNE off the air until the expiration of her TV3 contract, which runs through NOVEMBER 25.
