MEDIA MONITORS' latest accounting of election ads on radio, this one for 82 major markets for MARCH 18-27, has BERNIE SANDERS remaining on top with 4,054 spots aired by his campaign or the NATIONAL NURSES UNITED FOR PATIENT PROTECTION union PAC.
The other candidates' radio spending slowed significantly this time around, with DONALD TRUMP buying 243 spots, TED CRUZ and his PAC 227 spots, HILLARY CLINTON 143 spots (down from 4.536 in the previous 10-day report), and JOHN KASICH 60.
On the negative side, spending is also down, with 257 anti-TRUMP spots, down from 926 in the previous 10 days.
