EUREKA BROADCASTING CO., INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for KEJY/EUREKA, CA due to "financial conditions" and for K285DK/JUNCTION CITY, CA due to damage requiring relocation.
ALLIANCE BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS has closed on the sale of Classic Hits KEFH (KOOL 99.3)/CLARENDON, TX to DAVIS BROADCAST CO., INC. for $40,000.

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, MURPHY COMMUNICATIONS is selling noncommercial Variety KMUR/BULLHEAD CITY, AZ to CHRISTMAS BRICK FOUNDATION for $500,000.
In another deal yet to appear in the FCC database, LKCM RADIO GROUP, LP is selling Sports KVSO-A/ARDMORE, OK; Country KKAJ-F/DAVIS, OK; Oldies KYNZ/LONE GROVE, OK; and Active Rock KTRX/DICKSON, OK to STEPHENS MEDIA GROUP's SMG-ARDMORE, LLC for an undisclosed price. KALIL & CO., INC. served as the exclusive broker for the transaction.
The FCC has denied CHRISTIAN FAMILY NETWORK's application for reinstatement, an STA for, and renewal of deleted Religion WOLY-A/BATTLE CREEK, MO and has denied CFN's challenge to the modification of SPRING ARBOR UNIVERSITY's Religion WJKN-A /JACKSON, MI (since sold) and Contemporary Christian KTGG-A/OKEMOS, MI with conflicts with WOLY's former parameters. CFN filed its renewal application over 4-1/2 years after it was due; the Commission treated the application as a Petition for Reconsideration due to its "gross untimeliness" and denied it; CFN claimed that it had sent a letter notifying the Commission that due to incompatibilty of its "AOL Server" with the Commission's "E System," it would send its fee to PITTSBURGH and the forms by "the snail mail," but the FCC said that the letter, which it says it did not receive, was sent late and was effectively a waiver request, which it denied.
The Commission also denied AMY MEREDITH's challenge to the assignment of five FM translator construction permits, K262CM/NEEDLES, CA, K283CB/RUIDOSO, NM, K227CO/LOGAN, UT, K294CP/ROSEBURG, OR, and K227CP/CHEYENNE, WY, by POWELL MEREDITH COMMUNICATIONS CO. to COMMUNITY TRANSLATOR NETWORK, LLC. The Commission said that MEREDITH failed to object to the transfer prior to its grant, although she contended that she did and provided a cover letter with a timely date; the Commission noted that no objection was attached to the letter.
And the FCC also renewed MASCONOMET REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT's license for noncommercial WBMTBOXFORD, MA under a consent decree that fines the licensee $1.200 for public file violations; a settlement agreement with objector JOSEPH MCDONOUGH includes a time-share agreement with mutually-exclusive applicant NEW ENGLAND BROADCASTING EDUCATIONAL GROUP, which will share the frequency for a new noncommercial FM at NEWBURY, MA.
