No, this is not an APRIL FOOLS prank, though it sure sounds like it could be.
Several reputable sources are reporting the reformed GUNS N' ROSES -- with original members AXL ROSE, SLASH and DUFF McKAGAN -- are returning to the scene of their breakout, L.A.'s TROUBADOUR, just down the block from the SUNSET STRIP where they got their start -- to play a show tonight scheduled to start at 10p (PT), though knowing Mr. ROSE, it could start around MIDNIGHT.
Tickets for the show tonight are being made available at NOON (PT) at GIBSON BRANDS (8801 Sunset Blvd.), with approximately 250 on sale for $10 apiece.
The band also revealed the former home of TOWER RECORDS (where SLASH once worked) will be "transformed into a complete interactive GNR experience with a memorabilia exhibit," set to open at NOON with "historic items such as members' classic attire, original artwork, personal awards and more."
The show kicks off a series of appearances this month, in LAS VEGAS, MEXICO and COACHELLA. Tonight marks the first time ROSE and SLASH have been onstage together since the notorious break-up in 1993 in BUENOS AIRES.
