CC Ups Eddie Martiny To Houston VP & Market Manager; Dan Endom Appointed DOS

CLEAR CHANNEL/HOUSTON has promoted cluster VP/Sales EDDIE MARTINY to VP & Market Manager, effective immediately. MARTINY replaces MARK KOPELMAN, who was elevated to SVP back in JUNE (see NET NEWS 6/19). The promotion, which will have MARTINY overseeing day-to-day operations of all eight CC/Houston stations (KTRH, KPRC, KBME, KHMX, KODA, KLOL, KKRW, KTBZ) including the Total Traffic Network division, is effective immediately.

Commented EVP/Western region SUSAN KARIS, to whom MARTINY will report, "EDDIE’s six years of dedication as VP/Sales in HOUSTON have been instrumental in building our team and our resulting success. EDDIE has developed a strong profile both inside CLEAR CHANNEL and within the advertising and media community. Concurrently, the cluster has named sales veteran DAN ENDOM to the DOS position, effective immediately.  A 16-year broadcast sales veteran, ENDOM has previously held sales and sales management positions for various broadcast properties in LUBBOCK, TX, HOUSTON, TX, HARTFORD, CT and CAPE COD, MA.
