TONY QUARTARONE, aka TONY 'Q' has confirmed the formation of his new radio group MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATIONS, LLC. He has also confirmed the purchase of their first station, WJSJ/JACKSONVILLE, FL.  TONY Q will serve as Pres. of the group and SAAGA SHAH has been named VP.

QUARTARONE said, “I am excited about my new group and I can’t wait to get started on what I do best, turning stations around.  A format change is in the works.  He also stated that he wants the record companies to know that they will have a station again to break new songs and new artists.” 

TONY Q is a 6-time award winner and his honors range from a BILLBOARD Program Director of the Year Award to the URBAN KNIGHT Radio Award.  His radio career began in 1981 and his resume includes; WRKS (98.7)/NY, WUSL/PHILADELPHIA Consultant, Ownership with his 1st station WRKE/SALISBURY/OCEAN CITY for 10 years, and he formerly co-owned WJKS/WILMINGTON, DE.

MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATIONS plans to also consult radio stations and record companies.
