BILL SHIRK's HOOSIER BROADCASTING CORP. is selling W236CM/SPEEDWAY, IN to STONECOM COOKEVILLE, LLC for $35,000. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast News-Talk WATX-A/ALGOOD-COOKEVILLE, TN.

In other filings with the FCC, DIVINE MERCY BROADCASTING is selling K284BC/WINTHROP, WA to TWO HEARTS COMMUNICATIONS, LLC for $25,000. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Sports KTEL-A (1490 ESPN)/WALLA WALLA.

WESTERN SLOPE COMMUNICATIONS, LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STA for KAWY/MEEKER, CO while it waits for weather to allow it to finish installation of a new transmitter.

CUMULUS LICENSING LLC has applied to extend its Silent STA for WJWF-A/COLUMBUS, MS die to transmitter problems.

BIRACH BROADCASTING CORP. has filed for a Silent STA for WBVA-A/BAYSIDE, VA due to a "complete nightmare" battle with local authorities over zoning for the addition of a short tower at the site of sister WVAB-A/VIRGINIA BEACH to allow diplexing.

OAK RIDGE FM, INC. has requested a Silent STA for W252DD/SEVIERVILLE, TN while it awaits action on a modification application due to interference to a full-power FM.

COMMUNITY RADIO FOR NORTHERN COLORADO has closed on the purchase of Sports KJAC (105.5 ESPN, now noncommercial Triple A 105.5 THE COLORADO SOUND)/TIMNATH-DENVER from FRONT RANGE SPORTS NETWORK, LLC for $3 million.

JUAN ALBERTO AYALA has closed on the sale of W252AW/CHICAGO, K256CC/BEAUMONT, TX, W243DM/HAUPPAUGE, NY, and K261EF/WALLTOWN, CA to CENTRO CRISTIANO DE VIDA ETERNA for $400,000.

And EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling K233CV/ARKADELPHIA, AR to BOB MARK ALLEN PRODUCTIONS, INC. for $35,000. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Adult Standards KJIM-A/SHERMAN, TX.

In a deal yet to be filed with the FCC, COLONIAL MEDIA GROUP AND ENTERTAINMENT is buying Silent WMNB-A/NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC from BEATTY BROADCASTING COMPANY for an undisclosed price.  WNMB went silent late in 2015 after losing its tower site.

Also, EDUCATIONAL RADIO FOUNDATION OF EAST TEXAS, INC. has turned in the license for Religion KHJA/TATUM, TX with the completion of program tests for co-owned, first-adjacent-channel Religion KGLY/TYLER, TX.
