TED SCHOBER's CITY COMMONS LLC NJ SERIES A is selling W248CG/JERSEY CITY, NJ to CANTICO NUEVO MINISTRY, INC. for $1.6 million. The application lists the primary station as PILLAR OF FIRE Contemporary Christian WAWZ (STAR 99.1)/ZAREPHATH, NJ-NEW YORK, but it relays the buyer's Spanish Religion WJDM-A/JERSEY CITY.
In other filings in the FCC database TODAY, the previously announced sale by LKCM RADIO GROUP, LP of Sports KVSO-A/ARDMORE, OK; Country KKAJ-F/DAVIS, OK; Oldies KYNZ/LONE GROVE, OK; and Active Rock KTRX/DICKSON, OK to STEPHENS MEDIA GROUP's SMG-ARDMORE, LLC comes with a $2,462,500 price tag, according to the contract filed with the FCC now appearing in the Commission database.
The previously-undisclosed price for the purchase by COLONIAL RADIO GROUP, INC. of Silent WMNB-A/NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC from BEATTY BROADCASTING COMPANY is $1,000. WNMB went silent late in 2015 after losing its tower site.
LAKE COUNTY RADIO LLC is selling Country KORV (93.5 THE GOOSE)/LAKEVIEW, OR to M&J RADIO, LLC for $84,000 ($1,000 down, the rest in a promissory note).
The JERALD EDSON ISENHART TRUST is selling K278CB/WENATCHEE, WA to PREMIER BROADCASTERS, INC. for $25,000. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Oldies KITI-A/CENTRALIA, WA.
ONDAS DE VIDA, INC. is selling K239BB/BAKERSFIELD, CA to MANANTIAL DE VIDA NETWORK, INC. for $175,000. The translator will rebroadcast Spanish Oldies KAFY-A (LA FAVORITA)/BAKERSFIELD.
MAINSTREET MEDIA OF COLORADO, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for K245AD/ARVADA, CO while it relocates.
EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of W263CF/MERIDIAN, MS to MAX ONE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $20,000.
And the Commission denied URBAN ONE BROADCASTING NETWORK, LLC's Application for Review of the denial of tolling of its construction permit for modification of WURB/CROSS CITY, FL because it did not pay its filing fees for its STA request and license to cover applications, rejecting the applicant's argument that the fee rules should have been waived and failure to do so was discriminatory.
