FLORIDA's REACH COMMUNICATIONS is pulling the plug on its Contemporary Christian REACHFM network of stations and will sell off its stations.
In a message to listeners posted at its website, the network, founded in 2004, said, "MARCH 30th was REACHFM’s last day programming in its current format on all of its frequencies. CALVARY CHAPEL FORT LAUDERDALE, which founded and operated REACHFM, has made the decision to focus its ministry efforts and resources on other ways to advance its mission of connecting people to God, people to people, and people to outreach."
"The staff of REACHFM and the leadership of CALVARY CHAPEL are actively working to transfer ownership and operation of REACHFM’s various frequencies as much as possible to other Christian radio ministries. More information about changes to the programming format on REACHFM’s current frequencies will be available soon," the site read, adding, "A simplified format of worship music will continue on our current frequencies until all stations are acquired by other broadcasters." Broadcasts of CALVARY's live services will continue for now.
