His daughter posted on FACEBOOK, "Hi Friends and Fans of PAT ST JOHN, This is his daughter TIERNEY and I am posting TODAY on his behalf. Dad fell from a height and is currently being treated for injuries in his spine. We are truly fortunate to be surrounded by our immediate family and feel so grateful for all of your love and continued support as we wait to hear how long he will be off of the air. He does not currently have access to email or social media, but i will be sure to pass along on your words of encouragement and well wishes as they come. My dad's passion is to share his love of music with you all, and I am certain that his desire to be back on the air will help expedite his recovery."
