KVIL/Dallas' Stacy Fawcett Killed Along With Her Youngest Son

The DALLAS media community is in shock, and our condolences go out to the family, friends and co-workers of CBS RADIO AC KVIL/DALLAS contributor STACY FAWCETT, who died along with her younger son JOSIAH UTU, 17 on FRIDAY, APRIL 9th. FAWCETT was just 45.

The two were stabbed to death by FAWCETT's oldest son, MCCANN UTU, before he took his own life. Several reports said friends and family pointed to UTU’s mental health, which took a turn for the worse after he suffered two concussions.

PD JAY MICHAELS told ALL ACCESS, "Our hearts are heavy with the passing our dear friend (and personal friend) STACY FAWCETT. She was not only 1037 KVIL’s Foodie blogger (the best in town) but had a cooking segment on WFAA (Channel 8)/DALLAS. However, STACY was much than that. She was kind, sweet, beautiful and the most loving genuine person.  I will miss her greatly."
