Denver Sports Host Irv Brown Retires

Longtime DENVER sports talk host IRV BROWN has retired from MILE HIGH SPORTS RADIO Sports KDCO-A/DENVER.
BROWN, 81, a former college basketball referee with six Final Four appearances, had most recently been co-hosting with JOE WILLIAMS weekdays 1-2p (MT); he joined MILE HIGH SPORTS in 2011 and was known for many years at crosstown KHOW-A, and then KKFN-A (AM 950 THE FAN), starting in 1974. He also serves as a community ambassador for the DENVER NUGGETS and has worked as an analyst on ESPN.
The station held a retirement celebration on APRIL 7th, his final day on the air, at BLAKE STREET TAVERN in DENVER.
