Arbitron Releases Network Radio Today 2006 Edition

Network radio reaches about 75% of all radio listeners every week, according to ARBITRON's new 2006 NETWORK RADIO TODAY report derived from the 56 RADAR-rated networks that supply programs, services, and commercials to local affiliate stations.
The 2006 NETWORK RADIO TODAY report indicates that network radio reaches:
* More than 129 million adults 18+ listening to radio in their cars each week, compared with the 93 million who listen at home.
* 77% of American consumers in the coveted 25-54 age group.
* Nearly three-quarters of 12-17-year-olds.
* Approximately three-quarters of college graduates each week and almost 58 million who report having attended "some college."
ARBITRON VP/Nat'l Radio Services BRUCE SUPOVITZ said, "Network radio has the power to deliver to advertisers well-defined demographics and social-economic groups in all ranges. This medium offers advertisers one-stop access to this substantial national audience in a convenient and efficient manner."
