  The NATIONAL MUSIC COUNCIL's 33rd annual AMERICAN EAGLE AWARDS presentation is set for SATURDAY, JUNE 25th at the DAVIDSON BALLROOM of the NASHVILLE MUSIC CITY CENTER. The awards honor an individual's or an organization's long term music contribution to AMERICA's musical culture and heritage.
  
  This year's recipients are EMMYLOU HARRIS, VINCE GILL, and the GRAND OLE OPRY. Past AMERICAN EAGLE AWARD recipients include KRIS KRISTOFFERSON, THE OAK RIDGE BOYS, VH-1 SAVE THE MUSIC FOUNDATION, and MUSIC NAMES US, among others.
