MEDIABASE released airplay information indicating PRINCE songs dominated the radio over the weekend from last THURSDAY, the day of his death, through SUNDAY.
• The reach for all PRINCE songs combined for the four-day period was over 496 million audience impressions
• Spins increased from 4,950 spins to 56,329 – an increase of 1,038% over the previous week
• The top 10 most-played PRINCE songs were as follows with spin totals:1. “When Doves Cry” ("Purple Rain") : 5,342
2 “1999” ("1999"): 4,647
3. “Kiss” ("Parade"): 4,333
4. “Purple Rain” ("Purple Rain"): 4,229
5. “Little Red Corvette” ("1999"): 3,948
