The scene around PHILADELPHIA's LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD is likely to be a circus on SUNDAY with the return of TERRELL OWENS for the first time since creating havoc for the EAGLES, and CBS Sports WIP-A/PHILADELPHIA, as is its custom, will be right there making it even more of a circus -- literally -- by bringing in circus performers for its pre-game broadcast.
Morning show hosts ANGELO CATALDI and RHEA HUGHES, former EAGLE and present WIP commentator HUGH DOUGLAS, afternoon host HOWARD ESKIN, and night host BIG DADDY GRAHAM will be joined by a juggling clown, a puppeteer, and other circus performers for the event outside the WACHOVIA CENTER's CINGULAR PAVILION, across the street from the LINC, and REGAL CINEMAS will be handing out 10,000 bags of popcorn, some of which may find its way onto T.O.'s head as the COWBOYS battle the EAGLES.
The station will also be selling its "WIP Fanfinger" for $5; the item is EAGLE green with white stripes and is emblazoned with CATALDI and ESKIN's pictures, and it fits the index finger -- not, as might befit T.O.'s return, the middle finger.
