KFAB/Omaha Names Jim Rose PD

JIM ROSE, co-host of IHEARTMEDIA News-Talk KFAB-A/OMAHA's "GARY SADLEMYER AND THE GOOD MORNING SHOW" since 2001, has been named PD of the station effective MAY 1st, taking over for SADLEMYER, who has resigned as PD but will continue, as will ROSE, to host the morning show.

“When GARY made the decision to step down as PD for KFAB, we knew we had big shoes to fill,” said iHEARTMEDIA OMAHA SVP/Programming ERIK JOHNSON. “JIM’s tremendous background in news radio and his intimate knowledge of both OMAHA and KFAB all make him the perfect candidate to take over for GARY, who will remain an important and integral part of KFAB as he continues to focus on THE GOOD MORNING SHOW.”

“This is an amazing opportunity for JIM,” said SADLEMYER. “I’ve been lucky enough to work with incredible people at KFAB for 40 years and JIM is among the best. I’m honored to hand over programming duties while continuing to sit next to him and the rest of our talented team each morning on THE GOOD MORNING SHOW. I know that KFAB has become even stronger with the addition of JIM to our programming team.”
