CUMULUS News-Talk KCMO-A-K279BI/KANSAS CITY afternoon host GREG KNAPP has exited the station.  The station has not announced a replacement yet.

On his FACEBOOK page, KNAPP wrote, "After my radio show last night I was told that corporate was looking at saving money and decided the best way to do that was to lay me off.  For the past five years, I have consistently had the highest ratings on the station, so I was told repeatedly it was not about my performance. My GM was very kind in telling me how much she appreciated my show and my work. I think corporate just decided it was cheaper to run their own syndicated programming than it was to pay me a salary."
