iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 WAKS (96.5 KISS-FM)/CLEVELAND afternoon man JAVA JOEL interviewed R. KELLY today about a variety of topics, which you can listen to here.

Commenting about his new album, "The Buffet," which includes guests like LIL WAYNE and JUICY J, KELLY said: "It's definitely a blessing to still be in the game and collaborating with some of the younger artists and mixing it all up like that."

About his collaboration with MICHAEL JACKSON, "You Are Not Alone," KELLY commented: "It was the greatest experience I ever had in my life. Musically and just period.. It was like two pros in a basketball gym, playing one-on-one.  After it was over, there was no love lost. It was a great game."

Speaking of hoops, JAVA JOEL asked what KELLY thought about the chances of the hometown CLEVELAND CAVS and LeBRON JAMES in the NBA Playoffs, but didn't like the answer. "Gotta go for the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS.  Got to do it."
