Clear Channel, Jones Look For "Next Progressive Talk Star"

As previously reported, CLEAR CHANNEL, the CENTER FOR AMERICAN PROGRESS ACTION FUND, JONES RADIO NETWORKS, and MSS INC. are launching a contest to find the "NEXT PROGRESSIVE TALK RADIO STAR." The contest starts MONDAY (10/9) with local promotions at participatng stations with a final broadcast in front of a live studio audience in WASHINGTON on NOVEMBER 16. An "at large" portion of the contest will run on TALKPROGRESS.COM, an offshoot of the CENTER FOR AMERICAN PROGRESS' THINKPROGRESS.COM. JONES/P1 syndicated host ED SCHULTZ will be on the panel of judges for the contest, which will award a nationally syndicated show to the winner.
