KXSS (96.9 Kiss-FM), KMXJ (Mix 94.1)/Amarillo Raise $145k For Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Top 40 KXSS (96.9 KISS-FM) and AC KMXJ (MIX 94.1)/AMARILLO, TX, have raised $145,300 in RADIOTHONS for CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS to help local sick and injured kids.

KXSS morning show host TOMMY "THE HACKER" spent five days on a crane leading up to the event, raising money from listeners while weathering rain and wind. KMXJ's LON CROFFORD did 24 hours of non-stop fundraising, then hosted the after-party “Miracle Up,” where hundreds of lighted balloons were released on FRIDAY night (APRIL 29th).
