GARTH BROOKS, BOB DOYLE, BEN FARRELL, and the late JOE HARRIS will be inducted into the INTERNATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT BUYERS ASSOCIATION (IEBA)'s Hall Of Fame during a ceremony in NASHVILLE on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11th at the close of IEBA's 46TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE. BROOKS and company join past IEBA Hall Of Fame inductees, including DICK CLARK, JOHNNY CASH & LOU ROBIN, THE DOOBIE BROTHERS, ERV WOOLSEY, DALE MORRIS, GEORGE & NANCY JONES, and PAT BENATAR & NEIL GIRALDO.
BROOKS is one of the world's best-selling recording acts of all time, having sold over 100 million albums. He is booked in-house and managed by BOB DOYLE & ASSOCIATES, and his tour is promoted exclusively by LON VARNELL ENTERPRISES President BEN FARRELL. Late booking agent JOE HARRIS signed BROOKS to a contract with BUDDY LEE ATTRACTIONS in 1988, before BROOKS had landed a recording contract.
"I was lucky that the people I found in those first couple of years were on the side of writers, artists, and musicians," said BROOKS. "I met too many creative people who had been run over by the business, and I won't say it made me paranoid, but it did make me watchful." BROOKS is currently halfway through a three year "WORLD TOUR," fresh off of a 14 year retirement. In the 20 months since launching his "GARTH BROOKS WORLD TOUR WITH TRISHA YEARWOOD," he has shattered attendance records in more than 30 venues, sold more concert tickets than any other artist in the world in 2015, and is on the way to breaking all-time gross and attendance records with over four million tickets sold to date.
