COX MEDIA GROUP ORLANDO has added Urban AC WCFB (STAR 94.5) to the stations under the oversight of OM/Director of Branding & Programming STEVIE DEMANN. DEMANN has been overseeing Country WWKA (K92.3 FM), Top 40/Rhythmic WPYO (POWER 95.3), and Spanish Hot AC WCFB-HD2-W297BB (107.3 FM SOLO EXITOS) and will continue with those stations as well. In addition, News-Talk WDBO-F (NEWS 96.5) and Sports WDBO-A (ESPN ORLANDO 580 AM) Director of Branding & Programming and COX MEDIA GROUP News-Talk Format Coordinator DREW ANDERSSEN has been upped to OM for WDBO-A, WDBO-F, and Classic Hits WMMO. Both will report to Regional VP and GM/ORLANDO and JACKSONVILLE SUSAN LARKIN.
DEMANN said, “I have such passion for all of the brands within our cluster and look forward to working with MICHAEL SAUNDERS and the STAR 94.5 team! STAR 94.5 is THE market leader in ORLANDO’s urban community and it’s an honor to be directly associated with this team.”
“I am thrilled to take on a larger leadership role with HILDI and her team at the legendary WMMO,” said ANDERSSEN. “The artist base of WMMO is experiencing a tremendous resurgence in popularity, and the station has a history of delivering fantastic returns for our advertisers. I’m thankful for the opportunity SUSAN LARKIN has provided for STEVIE and me, and I believe it will allow us a unique opportunity for our teams to better meet the needs of listeners and advertisers in the ORLANDO market.” “Together, STEVIE and DREW will lead our brands and teams to continued success serving our listeners and community,” added LARKIN.
