CMT Announces 2016 'CMT Music Awards' Nominees

CARRIE UNDERWOOD, CHRIS STAPLETON, and CAM top the list of nominees for the 2016 "CMT MUSIC AWARDS," which will air live from BRIDGESTONE ARENA in NASHVILLE on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8th at 8p (ET). THE VALORY MUSIC CO. artist THOMAS RHETT made the announcement this MORNING (5/9) on NBC-TV's "The TODAY Show.”

Fans can vote online or via their mobile device at CMT Mobile now through MONDAY, JUNE 6th to decide the winners. On WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1st CMT will announce a brand-new surprise awards category. In the coming weeks, CMT will also reveal this year's host, performers, presenters, and more.
