SACRED HEART UNIVERSITY/WSHU PUBLIC RADIO GROUP's AM stations WSTC-A/STAMFORD, CT and WNLK-A/NORWALK, CT, silent for several months, have returned to the air with separate formats, reports the STAMFORD ADVOCATE.
WSTC-A is being operated by VGR RADIO AGENCY with Adult Standards and talk, the paper reports, citing RADIOINSIGHT.COM, while WNLK-A is airing brokered programming previously heard on Silent WDJZ-A/BRIDGEPORT. The FAIRFIELD COUNTY stations had been airing public radio programming under the university's ownership and WSHU banner before the plugs were pulled due to low listenership and financial considerations.
