GREATER MEDIA Classic Rock WMGK/PHILADELPHIA looks to raise $200,000 during JOHN DEBELLA’s Veterans Radiothon. One of the ways the station will be doing that will be through a series of eBAY auctions, accessible via wmgk.com. The auctions feature front row tickets, autographed items and "money can’t buy" experiences with THE WHO, JOE WALSH, JIM GAFFIGAN, CARLOS SANTANA, STEELY DAN, STING, PETER GABRIEL, CLAUDE GIROUX and more.
The auctions begin TODAY (6/8) and expire at various times through JUNE 17th. All funds raised go to the VETERANS MULTI-SERVICE CENTER(VMC) in PHILADELPHIA, whose mission is to provide services, programs, opportunities and advancement to veterans and their families.
This year’s Veterans Radiothon takes place FRIDAY, JUNE 17th from 6a to 6p. DEBELLA broadcasts live from the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER, encouraging listeners to donate by calling 1-800-678-WMGK(9645) or online at www.wmgk.com. DEBELLA is joined by famous musicians, celebrities and athletes during his broadcast. Through 9 years, WMGK has raised nearly 1 million dollars for the VMC.
