COLOMBIA-based EL GRUPO EDITORIAL NORMA has published the Spanish-language version of late recording artist SORAYA's memoir, "CON LAS CUERDAS ROTAS" ("BROKEN STRINGS"). The book can be purchased on OCTOBER 15 through the SUSAN G. KOMEN FOUNDATION of PUERTO RICO (www.susangkomenpr.org) as part of the activities related to the annual RACE FOR THE CURE event; starting OCTOBER 16 the book will be available in U.S. and PUERTO RICO bookstores, as well as at www.norma.com; and on OCTOBER 18 the memoir will be released in COLOMBIA and the rest of LATIN AMERICA.

All proceeds will be distributed to local organizations dedicated to promoting the early detection of breast cancer, the disease from which SORAYA died at age 37 earlier this year.
