The ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION's KEN SUGIURA is reporting that GEORGIA TECH sports radio voice BRANDON GAUDIN has informed the school that he is leaving to join WESTWOOD ONE as lead college football play-by-play announcer and the BIG TEN NETWORK to call football, baseball, and basketball.
GAUDIN, the former BUTLER UNIVERSITY basketball announcer who has been calling YELLOW JACKETS football and men's basketball since replacing longtime TECH voice WES DURHAM in AUGUST 2013, will also be heard on EA SPORTS' MADDEN 17 video game as lead play-by-play announcer, with CHARLES DAVIS on color commentary. GAUDIN has also freelanced football and basketball announcing for WESTWOOD ONE.
