KCLR/Columbia, MO Takes Home Five Missouri Broadcast Assn. Awards

2016 Award Winners Announced

ZIMMER RADIO Country KCLR (CLEAR 99)/COLUMBIA, MO was honored with five first place awards during the 2016 MISSOURI BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION AWARDS BANQUET, held in BRANSON on SATURDAY evening (6/11).

KCLR was recognized as Station of the Year; morning teamers “SCOTTY & CARA” won the 2016 DJ award; KCLR’s FACEBOOK page won for Social Media Radio Station of the Year; the station’s CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK (CMN) RADIOTHON won for Sponsored Community Event; and KCLR was also given the Corporate Award for its “HONOR FLIGHT RADIOTHON.” In addition, JEROME ZIMMER, founder of ZIMMER BROADCASTING, was inducted into the 2016 MISSOURI BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME.
