KRWM (Warm 106.9)/Seattle's Shellie Hart Crowned 'Queen Alcyone' For Seafair Festival

HUBBARD AC KRWM (WARM 106.9)/SEATTLE midday host SHELLIE HART was crowned Queen Alcyone along with the crowning of King Neptune, former SEAHAWK JORDAN BABINEAUX in the Kick-off Celebration of 2016’s SEAFAIR FESTIVAL. The King and Queen are chosen based on their philanthropic contributions to the PUGET SOUND region and ability to inspire the local community.

“What an honor! Growing up here, I always look forward to all the festivals, parades and signature events," said HART. "I love getting out and meeting new friends, families and adding to my long and cherished list of favorite SEAFAIR Summer moments. Plus, I get to spend it side-by-side with KING NEPTUNE, former SEAHAWK JORDAN BABINEAUX. Gonna be fun!”

HART has offered her services to several local community centers, charity events, galas and auctions, some of which have included:  NW Chapter LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY’s ‘Man & Woman of the Year,’ PAWS, NW HOPE & HEALING, POWERFUL SCHOOLS, WALK WITH FRIENDSHIP and, most recently, she served as producer of the documentary "Chad’s Legacy: Ending the Stigma of Mental Illness" for the CHAD’S LEGACY PROJECT.
