KBLX/San Francisco Loses Friendly Wager To WZAK/Cleveland Over NBA Finals

KBLX (102.9)/SAN FRANCISCO and WZAK (93.1)/CLEVELAND had a friendly wager at stake in the NBA CHAMPIONSHIP series between the WARRIORS and the CAVALIERS.  (NET NEWS 6/6)  Since GOLDEN STATE lost to the CAVS, KBLX will live up to their word.

The KBLX MORNING DREAM TEAM featuring MARK CURRY, KIMMIE TAYLOR and TONY SCO will purchase and wear CAVALIERS team clothing and post a picture to social media tagging 93.1 WZAK.  In addition, they will send WZAK midday host, SAM SYLK a gift basket including SAN FRANCISCO’s famous sourdough bread and an assortment of GHIRARDELLI chocolates.

KBLX OM/PD ELROY SMITH told ALL ACCESS, “The BAY AREA was very disappointed about our loss to the CAVALIERS.  However, we are proud of one of the world's greatest basketball teams, the WARRIORS.  We are good sports at KBLX therefore, our wager will be fulfilled to SAM SYLK at WZAK/CLEVELAND, which will be our last, because next year and all subsequent years, we will take and keep the title as the NBA champs.

WZAK PD BILL BLACK added, "It's hard to beat ELROY in ratings, so I can now finally say I beat him at something.  Go CAVS.
