MOUNT WILSON FM BROADCASTERS, INC. is selling Country KYZZ (Z-COUNTRY 97.9)/SALINAS, CA to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $1.25 Million.

BILL SHIRK's HOOSIER BROADCASTING CORP. has closed on the sale of W293CF/LEBANON, IN (now W283CO/RENSSELAER, IN) to BROTHERS BROADCASTING CORP. for $30,000. The buyer is moving the translator to rebroadcast Classic Country WRIN-A (THE BEAR COUNTRY 1560)/RENSSELAER, IN.

In other filings with the FCC, CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA, INC. is selling Religion KWVE-A/OILDALE, CA and K273CB/BAKERSFIELD to SUKHDEV S. DHILLON's XL MEDIA (CA) INC.  for $200,000.

CALVARY CHAPEL CHURCH, INC. is selling W279CJ/PUNTA GORDA BEACH, FL and W292EK/NORTH PORT, FL to MARC RADIO GAINESVILLE, LLC for $50,000.  The buyer plans to move the translators to rebroadcast Gospel  WTMN-A/GAINESVILLE, FL and News-Talk WRZN-A/HERNANDO, FL, respectively.

COCHISE BROADCASTING LLC has filed for Silent STAs for KWXR/RELIANCE, WY and KXJW/NORTH ROCK SPRINGS, WY.  The licensee wrote, "While the licensee had hoped to have been able to restore full-time operation of its only two remaining silent WYOMING stations by now, the licensee is moving cautiously due to the fact that the stations' license renewals have been awaiting grant for over three years, creating uncertainty as to the stations' underlying viability. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this is not the start of another long term silent period but a request for a little more time to place them on the air permanently."

iHEARTMEDIA's CAPSTAR TX LLC has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for WMYF-A/PORTSMOUTH, NH while it looks for a new tower site.

And ARUBA CAPITAL HOLDINGS, LLC has requested an extension of its silent STA for W246BP/SANFORD, ME while it completes work on a new tower site.
