ALL ACCESS sends kudos out to our own RESEARCH DOCTOR columnist DR. ROGER WIMMER on being granted a U.S. Patent number D529,360 for his new invention, the "Tool Handle".

The idea is to protect the hand while using striking tools -- hammer, ax, hatchet, and so on -- so that they don't slip and injure the user.

DR. WIMMER explains, "It protects the hand and also will not slip out of the user's hand during any type of swinging motion. However, one major advantage is that the handle has a lot of versatility. It can be used for professional tools, consumer tools, kids' tools, and tools for senior citizens."

WIMMER plans to market his patent to ... (drum roll, please) ... tool companies.  Good luck DR. WIMMER ... you are something else!
