After three successful years as PD at CITADEL Top 40 KKMG (98.9 MAGIC FM)/COLORADO SPRINGS, CHAD RUFER has resigned to join FT. MYERS BROADCASTING Hot AC WINK/FT. MYERS as its new PD, beginning NOVEMBER 1st.

RUFER told ALL ACCESS, "I am very lucky to have worked with such a great group of folks at CITADEL, like OM BOBBY IRWIN, WEST COAST Regional President TODD LAWLEY, and President/COO JUDY ELLIS. I am returning home to be near my family in FT. MYERS and looking forward to working with morning man JEFF ANDREWS, middayer GINA BIRCH, afternooner DAVE ALEXANDER, GM WAYNE SIMONS, and the rest of the amazing team at WINK-FM."

Back at 98.9 MAGIC FM, CITADEL/COLORADO SPRINGS OM BOBBY IRWIN is conducting a search for CHAD's replacement, telling ALL ACCESS, "We have some outstanding tools and support in an excellent cluster environment. I need someone who lives and breathes the Top 40 lifestyle as CHAD is a very hard act to follow."
