Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. Buys talkSPORT Parent Wireless Group

NEWS CORPORATION, RUPERT MURDOCH's print newspaper company, has purchased WIRELESS GROUP, owner of the U.K.'s national Sports radio station TALKSPORT and several other stations, for about £220 million (£3.15/share).

The purchase also includes 12 independent local stations in ENGLAND and WALES, DAB multiplexes, and seven stations across IRELAND, as well as the TIBUS ISP and SIMPLY ZESTY digital agency.
