Cumulus Launches Classic Hits WOMG/Columbia, SC With Benji Norton

CUMULS MEDIA has launched its WOMG (98.5)/COLUMBIA, SC, radio station todayas “Classic Hits 98.5 WOMG." The former 98.5 NASH ICON Country station kicked off its new programming format at 2p (ET) today.

On-air personality BENJI NORTON will join as host of the “Breakfast With BENJI” morning show, airing from 6-9a (ET) weekdays, beginning MONDAY, JULY 11th. NORTON has anchored the morning show on CUMULUS MEDIA Sports WNKT (1075 THE GAME)/COLUMBIA, SC, for the past nine years.

“From 1989 to 2014, the call letters WOMG have been synonymous with Classic Hit music," WOMG OM BREND JOHNSON said " In 2016, we are so excited to bring WOMG back and play the music our listeners have been begging us to play. So many of these songs and artists have not been played in COLUMBIA in years.”
