PATRICK PENDERGAST has been named Dir./Sales for the MILWAUKEE RADIO ALLIANCE (MRA) stations by MRA GM STEVE KOSBAU, to whom he will report. PENDERGAST will oversee the sales operations for all three of the company’s stations: Alternative WLUM (FM 102.1), AC WLDB (B93.3) and Oldies/Adult Hits WZTI-A (100.3 FM).
Born and raised in MILWAUKEE, PENDERGAST began his career selling ads at the former WLZR in 1985. In 1992, he joined JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP as Sales Manager for WKTI. From 1997 to 2006, he was with ARBITRON, then moved to MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS and NEXTMEDIA before returning to MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS as VP/Market Manager for their four station cluster in LANSING, MI.
“I feel like I’ve won the lottery," PENDERGRAST said. "Returning home to my wife and family, three great radio stations, and great management who believe in 'live and local' radio, it’s really an ideal situation for me.”
