The FAYETTEVILLE ARKANSAS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE declared JULY 7th "PERRY BROADCASTING DAY."  Earlier this year (NET NEWS 1/4),  the OKLAHOMA CITY based PERRY PUBLISHING & BROADCASTING CO. launched Urban KQIS (KISS 105.3/1340-A). 

It's the first Urban formatted radio station in the area.

VP/Programming TERRY MONDAY told ALL ACCESS, “I never thought I would have an opportunity to manage 22 stations and expand outside of OKLAHOMA, to AUGUSTA, GA, NORTH AUGUSTA, SC and now in FAYETTEVILLE, AR.  It's a blessing to do what you love and be allowed to manage, create content, and entertain.  Mr. RUSSELL PERRY, his company and his family, have been a blessing in my life."
